About

We’re very pleased to announce that Jazz FM makes a triumphant return to the airwaves on Monday 6th October.

In planning your new Jazz FM we’ve worked hard to blend favourite shows like Dinner Jazz and the Late Lounge with new programmes and features that we know you’re going to love like Mike Doyle’s Fierce Angels and Anthony Davis’s very individual take on the Jazz music scene.

We’ll also be welcoming back some old friends including Peter Young, Sarah Ward, Claire Anderson and Steve Quirk.

Rather than investing in big expensive premises and flashy cars, we’ve invested all our money in the programmes so whatever your Jazz music tastes from Smooth Jazz, the Jazz Standards and Classic Soul by way of the Blues, Be-Bop and Swing, stopping off for some Trad Jazz, Big Band and Latin Favourites through to Nu Jazz, Fusion and Electronica – we know we’ll be playing music that you’ll love.

You’ll be able to hear us worldwide on the internet at http://www.jazzfm.com – via Satellite across the United Kingdom and Eire on SKY channel 0202 as well as, from late October, on Freesat and on UK digital radio (DAB) in London & the South East, in Cardiff & South Wales, in Birmingham and the West Midlands, in Manchester & the North West and Glasgow & South West Scotland – just rescan your DAB radio at the start of October to find us.

So tune in from Monday 6th October and start Listening In Colour again!
